The fungistatic activity of liposome containing rhinacanthin-C, pure rhinacanthin-C and positive control (ketoconazole) were performed by the modified method of (Lorian 1996;Bajpai et al. 2009;Kuete et al. 2009) which enabled to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). The antifungal MIC values of liposome containing rhinacanthin-C (two formula), pure rhinacanthin-C and ketoconazole antibiotics were determined by using micro agar dilution assay as follows; the stock solution of liposome containing rhinacanthin-C was initially diluted with sterile distilled water to produce a twofold serial dilution of ranging from 0.39 to 800 µg/ml, and the stock solution of pure rhinacanthin-C and ketoconazole were diluted with DMSO to produce a twofold serial dilution ranging from 0.012 to 24 mg/ ml. ...
