... Puccinia smilacis have been recorded by us secondly, it was registered by Hüseyin & Karahan formerly (2005). Similar studies were studied in Black sea coastal region forest ecosystem except Bartın provinces and identified species such as Phyllosticta haynaldii, P. ruscicola, Gloeosporium carpinicola, Hirudinaria mespili, Diatrype stigma, Discula campestris etc. (Hüseyinov & Selçuk 2001a, 2001bMel'nik et al. 2004;Selçuk & Hüseyin 2005) The identified species of microfungi are different consortive relations with 21 host plant species in 18 genera of 19 families. ...
... The first aerobiological study in Turkey was conducted by Özkaragöz (1969) who, using the open Petri dish technique, identified the atmospheric fungal spores in Ankara. In subsequent years, the number of aerobiological studies was consistently increasing and atmospheric fungal spores were identified employing different methods (Asan et al., 2004;Okten et al., 2005;Ataygul et al., 2007;Erkara et al., 2008Erkara et al., , 2009Çeter and Pinar, 2009;Kalyoncu, 2010;Bülbül et al., 2011;Yükselen et al., 2013;Artaç et al., 2014;Akgül et al., 2016;Sevindik and Akgül, 2018). However, studies using volumetric methods, comparable to ours in Turkey, have been relatively scarce. ...

... Naemacyclus fimbriatus was originally described from Philadelphia by Schweinitz (1834) as Stictis fimbriata, with white to gray apothecial discs formed in groups on the inner side of the strobili scales of Jersey Pine (Pinus inops). From the Balkans, N. fimbriatus was known in Turkey on squamules of fallen female cones from Pinus nigra (Erdoğdu et al., 2017). ...
... The same treatment was adopted by Wijayawardene et al. (2020) who also accepted Bezerromycetaceae as a family of Tubeufiales. Based on multi-gene phylogenetic analyses and morphological features, Lu et al. (2018) transferred Neorhamphoria to Bezerromycetaceae, a genus first introduced incertae sedis of Tubeufiales (Boonmee et al. 2016). In the recent outline of families of Dothideomycetes, Hongsanan et al. (2020) treated these three genera in Bezerromycetaceae (Tubeufiales). ...

... The relatively small number (nearly 30 species) of Ramularia species recorded in subsequent papers (Göbelez 1964) reflects a rather poor degree of research on microfungi on plants in Turkey. However, during the past two decades research on micromycetes (including hyphomycetes) in the country has intensified (Altan & Tamer 1996, Hüseyinov & Selçuk 1999, Braun et al. 2000, Hüseyin & Selçuk 2001, Hüseyinov et al. 2002, Hüseyin et al. 2003, 2005, Melnik et al. 2004, Erdoğdu & Hüseyin 2007, Selçuk et al. 2009, 2010). Ramularia hypericicola on Hypericum calycinum; a, spots on infected host leaves; b, punctiform grayish white caespituli; c, small fasicle of conidiophores; d, conidia. ...
