ABSTRACT
This paper gives an account of five taxa of the genus Asterina, collected from
Kerala State. Of these, Asterina miliusae and A. suttonii are the new species.
Asterina hibisci (Doidge) Hosagoudar, comb. nov. is effected here, while, Asterina
lobulifera and A. pogostemonis are reported here for the first time from India.
