Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Polymers are materials that have a wide range of applications, ranging from simple applications (toys, domestic items) to uses in specialized areas (automotive industry, medicine, etc.). However, in order to assume the final form in which a polymer product reaches the consumer, they must undergo a transformation process, such as extrusion, injection molding, compression etc. In most cases, they require additives that help to improve their behavior or avoid detrimental effects to their properties. The present Special Issue aims to cover recent works that report the use of novel additives for modification of polymers properties to improve their thermal, mechanical, morphological, and other relevant types of properties. These additives need to be novel and original, can be from natural or synthetic nature, and should improve the properties of the polymers. The contributions can be original articles, review works, or communications.
