Abstract

The SFTesselation program creates random mosaic (Voronoi diagram) by using the SFTesselation algorithm. When starting the "Start new Tesselation" menu function, coordinates of starting points (pixel-generators) are obtained via a random number generator, after which an auto wave process is performed, during which a wave front is propagated from each pixel-generator. Thus, each time the program is started, a different mosaic is obtained. A second version of the program included the "Stream Tessellation" option, which creates and displays a mosaic (Voronoi diagram) as a continuous stream. This mosaic can also be saved as an animated .gif file, but the number of frames that can be saved is limited to 1000. The third version of the program includes the "Periodic Boundary" option, which creates a random mosaic (Voronoi diagram) that can be continued periodically without interruption in the direction of the x and y coordinate axes.
