Women Rights in Pakistan
Women Rights in Pakistan:
Women Rights are the rights or we can say the freedom that is given to women and girls
worldwide. IN some states, these rights can be given but in other states they are completely
ignored. If these rights can be given to women then they will definitely get free from sexual
violation and are able to vote.They can get equal rights in both family laws as well as in work
environment. These rights can cover each and every aspect of life including education, health,
economically and politically. If I talk about the women rights in Pakistan then in the past they are
not given equally which was a serious issue but now they can be given to them. In some areas
as women are forced to bring dowry with them and if I see in backward areas where early
marriages are some common that a twelve year old girl get marry with the man who's of double
age because they thought that the marriage is not just about the two people but the two families.
Other violence like women trafficking is also serious issue but now many things come to a
change as the time passed. AS we know that there are always two sides of everything so in this
case there's also good people and the bad one.Women do get freedom and opportunities but
depending on the place where they live. As it is said that;
Human Rights are women's rights and women rights are human rights.
( Hillary Rodham Clinton)
Women Rights in Islam:
If we talk about women rights in Islam then Undoubtedly, it's the religion where women can be
given equal rights. Women plays a vital role in the family as they are the one who's controlling
the house, taking care of the children and do cooking as well.They must be appreciated so the
point is that they're not just supposed to do household but must be allowed to go outside for
work. There's a misconception from the western people about Muslims beliefs that neither they
are treated good nor they are given equal human rights so they're inferior but the Holy Book
Quran itself says that men are in charge of women and always talk about fairness and justice for
women. The best Example is that the wife of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), Hazrat Khadija
(S.A) was also a business woman. In Quran, Allah said that;
And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women. (2:226)
