1. Introduction
is article is a continuation of our previously published contribution to the
mycobiota of Wielkopolski National Park (WPN), which is one of two national parks
located within the borders of the Wielkopolska region. A general description of the
study area and the history of mycological studies in WPN has been briey described
in the rst part of this paper (Gierczyk & Kujawa, 2020). In 2018, the number
of known species in this area was veried based on published and unpublished
materials. At the close of the rst year of this study, the number of fungal taxa in the
WPN had reached 975. e taxa recorded in 2018 (312) included 140 that were new
to WPN, 26 that were new to the Wielkopolska region, and ve that had hitherto not
been reported in Poland (Gierczyk & Kujawa, 2020). e purpose of this study was
to present new mycological data for the WPN.
2. Material and Methods
Specimens were collected in 2019 from January to December using the route
method. Forest compartment numbers are given aer the Forest Data Bank
(https://www.bdl.lasy.gov.pl/). Methods of specimen identication, taxonomic
literature used, sources of nomenclature, distribution data, and threat/protection
status in Poland have been previously described (Gierczyk & Kujawa, 2020).
Additionally, the following monographs have been also used: Amanita (Galli, 2001;
Kibby, 2012), Entoloma (Noordeloos, 1992,2004), Inocybe (Ferrari, 2006,2010;
Ferrari et al., 2014; Kuyper, 1986; Stangl, 2011), Lactarius (Heilmann-Clausen
et al., 1998), Mycena (Aronsen & Læssøe, 2016), Ramaria (Christan, 2008),

Sowerbyella (Yao & Spooner, 2006), Tricholoma (Christensen & Heilmann-
Clausen, 2013), Tulasnella (Roberts, 1994), Boletales (Mikšík, 2017), gasteroid
fungi (Jeppson, 2013,2018; Sarasini, 2005; Sunhede, 1989), and jelly fungi
(Wojewoda, 1977). Dried specimens have been deposited in Błażej Gierczyk and
Tomasz Ślusarczyk private fungaria, and in the fungarium of Turew Field Station
of the Institute for Agricultural and Forest Environment of the Polish Academy of
Sciences.
3. Results
During eld research in WPN in 2019, over 1,250 records were collected, referring
to 526 taxa (species, varieties, and forms). Among these, 189 had not previously
collected within WPN. Nine taxa are new to Poland, and 24 to the Wielkopolska
region. Many taxa have been conrmed for the rst time in WPN almost 90 years
since they were observed in the park. Among other interesting and valuable taxa,
one could nd, for example, species partially protected, observed only in single
localities in Poland, or red-listed species (Ex – 1, E – 7, V – 8, R – 13, I – 1). Among
the valuable species found growing in the WPN, many may have a higher chance of
survival than their populations occurring outside protected areas. To the best of our
knowledge, populations of numerous species are only preserved in the Wielkopolska
region within the WPN [compare with other published data from this region, e.g.,
Gierczyk & Ślusarczyk (2020)]. e current state of knowledge indicates that some
taxa need habitats and conditions for their growth and propagation that are secured
only in protected areas, due to factors such as noninvasive forest management,
presence of old tree stands, abundant coarse woody debris, or mosaic habitats
(Moore et al., 2001). e current number of fungal taxa known in this park reached
1,122 (1,164 including species of uncertain status), which proves the importance of
this area for protecting and conserving fungal biota in central Wielkopolska.

were found: Ex – 1 (Lepiota erminea), E – 7 (e.g., Bovista graveolens,Phlebia
livida,Xerula melanotricha), V – 8 (e.g., Buchwaldoboletus lignicola,Limacella
guttata,Tricholoma populinum), R – 13 (e.g., Botryobasidium laeve,Hymenochaete
tabacina, and Russula caerulea), and I – 1 (Russula chloroides). ese results
indicate the necessity and legitimacy of further mycological studies in WPN. e
current number of fungal taxa known in this park reached 1,122, which proves
the importance of this area for protecting and conserving fungal biota in central
Wielkopolska.

ABSTRACT: This article is a continuation of the planned series of publications containing data on the new sites of macrofungi identified by members of the Fungal Diversity and Conservation Section of the Polish Mycological Society. This work aims to broaden the knowledge of the distribution of fungi in Po-land. The study contains data on 228 new localities of 163 macrofungal species (16 species of Ascomycota and 147 species of Basidiomycota) occurring in 11 provinces and 41 mesoregions. Among them, there are four species not mentioned in any of the Polish species checklists (but previously recorded in Poland at single sites): Leucopaxillus rhodoleucus, Otidea tuomikoskii, Pithya cupressina, and Pluteus fenzlii.

The Wielkopolski National Park is located in western Poland, near Poznań City. Its unique postglacial landforms are covered with various (semi)natural and anthropogenic ecosystems. The mycobiota of this Park has been studied for 90 years; however, current state knowledge is still insufficient. In 2018, a few-year- long project on the chorology, richness, and diversity of fungal biota of this area was started. In the first year, 312 taxa of macromycetes were found. Among them, 140 taxa were new for the biota of the Wielkopolski National Park. Five species ( Botryobasidium robustius , Hebeloma subtortum , Leccinum brunneogriseolum , Pachyella violaceonigra , and Sistotrema athelioides ) were new for Poland, and 26 taxa were new for the Wielkopolska region.

This work aimed to present the diversity of fungal species in the Poznań- Radojewo park. It was characterized based on literature data, unpublished master’s theses, the authors’ data, as well as data collected during two mycological trips organized by the Mycological Section of the Polish Botanical Society. Between 1980 and 2017, as many as 333 species of macromycetes have been found within the park in Poznań-Radojewo (among them 19% are rare and endangered), including eight protected species ( Mitrophora semilibera , Morchella esculenta (var. esculenta and var. umbrina ), Geastrum corollinum , G. fornicatum , Hericium coralloides, and Myriostoma coliforme ), as well as two species new to the Polish mycobiota: Psathyrella bipellis and P. larga . The park in Poznań-Radojewo is very important for maintaining a high species diversity of fungi within the city of Poznań. During revitalization works, it is of paramount importance to take the needs of rare, threatened, and protected species under consideration and to preserve the natural character of plant communities. It is also vital to ensure the presence of coarse woody debris at different decomposition phases, which serves as an important substratum type for rare fungi.

The Bieszczady Mts – a mountain range in SE Poland is a hot spot of fungal richness and diversity in Poland. This paper summarizes 5 years of studies in the Bieszczady Mts, as well as previously published research. A total of 1377 macromycetes taxa were found, including many (464) which were protected, red-listed, or very rare in Poland. Thirty-eight taxa (9 Ascomycota and 29 Basidiomycota) have been reported in Poland for the first time: Agrocybe gibberosa , Auriporia aurulenta , Bolbitius variicolor, Bulgariella pulla , Chaetosphaerella phaeostroma , Clitocybe subspadicea , Clitopilus passeckerianus , Cortinarius anomalus var. subcaligatus , C. fervidus , C. flexipes var. inolens , C. sylvae-norvegicae , Cudoniella tenuispora , Entoloma bisporigerum , E. olorinum , E. poliopus var. parvisporigerum , E. sericeoides , Galerina caulocystidiata , Gymnopilus josserandii , Hymenoscyphus subferrugineus , Hypholoma olivaceotinctum , Inocybe queletii , Laccaria altaica , Lactarius romagnesii , L. rostratus , Mycena epipterygia var. atroviscosa , M. epipterygia var. candida , M. polygramma f. candida , Octavianina lutea , O. mutabilis , Pachyella violaceonigra , Panaeolus papilionaceus var. capitatocystis , Phaeocollybia jennyae , Psathyrella almerensis , Pyrenopeziza inornata , Scutellinia torrentis , Tricholoma basirubens , Tricholomopsis flammula , Vibrissea decolorans . For all new taxa, short descriptions based on the collected material have been provided.

Results of mycological research conducted in the years 2001–2013 in the restoration stands growing on reclaimed mine spoils are presented. Four opencast lignite mine spoil heaps in Poland were examined: Pątnów-Jóźwin, Adamów, Mt Kamieńsk, and Turów. The paper focuses on 71 species of ectomycorrhizal fungi: recorded for the first time in the country (16 taxa), currently red-listed (23 taxa), known from few localities only (32 taxa). Notes on their ecology and habitats are provided, as well as their distribution in Europe and in Poland. Restoration tree stands, established as part of the reclamation process of mine spoils, form a unique habitat for many rare and interesting fungal taxa. Among them are pioneer species, species known mainly from Northern Europe or mountainous locations, highly specialized and narrow-niche taxa, and many threatened species. Afforested mine spoils contribute significantly to the fungal biodiversity, both at a local and at a larger scale.

Remarks on ecology of several small agarics growing in carr forests of Querco-Ulmetum minoris and Astrantio-Fraxinetum type are presented and discussed. They all occupy special microhabitat (bare ground), belong to certain functional group (saprotrophs) and seem to be connected with carr forest habitat. The base rich or neutral soil humus, generally not favoured by fungi, together with extreme moisture and fast decomposition of litter causes that some humicolous macrofungi in carr forests form mostly small and short-living fruit bodies of hygrophyte character. They represent several genera: Conocybe, Coprinus, Cystolepiota, Entoloma, Flammulaster, Lepiota, Melanophyllum and Pholiotina of the order Agaricales. New localities are given, ecological amplitude is analised and preliminary mycosynusial consideration is presented.
