Abstract and Figures

New faunistic records are presented for 164 species of long-horned beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of the Oriental Region and adjacent territories. Records of 21 species presents the first faunistic data after the original description, and two taxa are recorded for the first time for the local fauna: Eunidia atripennis Pu & Yang, 1993 for Vietnam and Cyriotasiastes rhetenor mindorensis Vives, 2009 for Luzon Island (Philippines). Key words: Fauna, distribution, Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, rare species

INTRODUCTION
The present study is the third part of series of
articles, which providing the faunistic data about
long-horned beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae)
of the Oriental Region. For the past decades,
faunistic studies has been signicantly considered
by many entomologists, but, unfortunately, some
of them with the minor importance and even
unscientic. As a result, it followed that’s a little
published faunistic data or these data for some
zoogeographical regions are missing. There is
also very little information on the distribution of
long-horned beetles in the Oriental Region. For
many rare species, no additional ndings after
their description. This is a major challenge for
the biodiversity protection, especially in tropical
regions, where natural habitats are declining
rapidly. Many species need strict protection, but
the necessary data about them are lacking. The
main aim of this study is to reduce the lack of the
faunistic data for some species.
Therefore, this article presents new records
of many species of long-horned beetles. The
purpose of this series is to supplement data on
the distribution of Cerambycidae of the Oriental
Region. In the first part, Barševskis (2018)
published data about 34 little-known species
of long-horned beetles, including records of 11
species which were provided for the rst time
after their original descriptions. In the second
part, Barševskis (2019) published faunistic data
for 85 species, including records of ve species
which are provided for the rst time after the
original description and new records of three
species for the local country or island fauna. This
article also includes some species with ndings
outside the Oriental Region, e.g. from Japan,
India, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and
Australia. This should complement the faunistic
data of longhorn-beetles in general.

These studies containing descriptions of new

... comb. Dolichoprosophus philippinensis Barševskis, 2019 : 291 ;Barševskis, 2020 : 179 misspelling. ...
... This species looks closely related to N. tomentosus (Buquet, 1859), the supposed most archaic species of the genus (Vitali, 2013) and other Moluccan congeners, e.g., N. leuciscus Pascoe, 1866, which share an analogous pattern and pubescent scape but more elongated elytra. Interestingly, N. tomentosus and N. philippinensis show a relatively wide distribution, the former being present in New Guinea and Solomon Islands and the latter in several islands of the Philippines (Barševskis, 2019 ;2020). Moreover, this species also explains the presence of other Nemophas species with pubescent scapes in the Philippines, such as N. ramosi Schultze, 1920 andN. ...
Article
New generic combinations are proposed and one new species is described for Oriental Lamiini. Dolichoprosopus philippinensis Breuning, 1980 is transferred to Nemophas Thomson, 1864 as follows: Nemophas philippinensis (Breuning, 1980) n. comb. Nemoplophora Wallin, Kwamme & Nylander, 2014 is considered a junior synonym of Dolichoprosopus Ritsema, 1881 and Dolichoprosopus subcylindricus (Aurivillius, 1927) becomes reinstated. From Monochamus Dejean, 1821 four species are transferred to Trachystohamus Pic, 1936 resulting in the new combinations: T. serratus (Gahan, 1906); T. semigranulatus (Pic, 1925); T. asper (Breuning, 1935) and T. latefasciatus (Breuning, 1944). Trachystohamus maculatus n. sp. is described from Vietnam.
... In recent years, the author started to publish contributions about long-horned beetles of the Oriental fauna (Barševskis 2018(Barševskis , 2019(Barševskis , 2020. Similar faunistic articles were published also by other colleagues (Gouvernieur, Vitali 2016;Medina et al. 2021a,b;Skale, Vitali 2021;Vitali, 2018;Vives 2017Vives , 2020Vives, Heffern 2021;Yamasako et al. 2021, etc.). ...

Data on the collection of the genus Epepeotes Pascoe, 1866 deposited in the Natural History Museum, London are presented. A total of 23 species/subspecies, including type specimens of 18 names, of them 13 valid, are recorded. Epepeotes uncinatus lineatopunctatus Breuning, 1960 is restored to subspecies-level status. Lectotypes are designated for Epepeotes uncinatus uncinatus Gahan, 1888 and Epepeotes andamanicus Gahan, 1893. Epepeotes luscus luscus (Fabricius, 1787) is newly recorded in Cambodia and Singapore, and Epepeotes uncinatus uncinatus Gahan, 1888 is newly recorded in Bangladesh. Images of the type and other significant specimens are provided for 23 taxa, mainly for the first time.

The article summarizes faunistic data on 82 rare and little-known species of long-horned beetles, collected in the Oriental Region and deposited in the beetle collection of Daugavpils University, Latvia (DUBC). New data on 14 species presents the first faunistic information after their original descriptions, and ten taxa are recorded for the first time for the local fauna: Cacia flavoguttata Breuning, 1968, Cenodocus laosensis Breuning, 1965, Dryopea excavatipennis Breuning, 1965, Eunidia nigroapicalis (Pic, 1925), Eunidia savioi (Pic, 1925) from Vietnam; Daxata confusa Pascoe, 1869 from the Philippines; Mynonebra opaca Fisher, 1925. from Luzon Island and Marinduque islands; Mimectatina singularis Aurivillius, 1927. from Mindanao Island and Scapexocentrus philipinus Vives, 2020 from Panay Island (the Philippines). The distributionsl range of Cleomenes dihammaphoroides Thomson, 1864. has been clarified, and two synonymies are proposed: Ametacyna holzschuchi Huedepohl, 1995 syn. nov. for Mimomorpha flavopunctata Breuning, 1980 and the genus Ametacyna Hüdepohl, 1995 syn. nov. for the genus Mimomorpha Newman, 1842
