Abstract In this study, it is aimed to reveal the morphometric properties of Sille Stream Basin through Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Morphological units are one of the basins in which the natural environment-human relations have been dealt with in a holistic manner. Morphometry studies provide quantitative data in explaining the geomorphological characteristics and development of the basins. These types of analysis, which include areal, linear and calculated surface parameters, can be applied to active tectonic areas, mountain areas and different morphological units. Morphometric indices and determining the characteristics of basins are the important parameters for basin planning. In this study, Sille Stream basin including the settlement of Sille, which is located in the northwest of the city center within the borders of Selçuklu district of Konya province and known for its historical and touristic aspect is examined. For this purpose; on the Sille Stream Basin which has many physical and humanitarian elements in combination and is constructed of from morphometric indices, the analyses of basin shape (Rf), hypometric curve (He) and hypometric integral (Hi), basin asymmetry (T), valley base width-valley height ratio (Vf), river gradient (Sl), water flow (Fs) are analysed. According to these analyses, it is observed that the Sille Stream Basin is a narrow and longitudinal basin with a very low value of Rf = 0.17 (0.2), is a mature basin with Hi = 0.43, and also is a young basin with high slope values.
... Texture ratio (T ) varies depending on the geological characteristics, soil infiltration, percolation capacity, and the condition of the aspect in the watershed (Fural, 2018). ...

Watershed morphometry refers to the connections between systems of a watershed, such as hydrology, geology, vegetation, and topographic structure. The topographic and hydrological characteristics of the watershed have a great impact on vegetation, retention of rainwater in the soil, and its transformation into runoff, flood, and landslide occurring in the watershed. In this study, watershed morphometric analysis of the Altindere, Zigana and Çatak subwatersheds located upstream of the Degirmendere watershed in Turkey was conducted, and the potential of producing floods related to these features was investigated. As the study area, Trabzon Degirmendere subwatersheds were chosen due to flood and landslide events that have occurred in the past and caused loss of life and property damage. By considering the linear, areal, and relief morphometric properties of each subwatershed, their flood effect levels and potentials are revealed. ArcGIS software was used in the analysis. Digital Elevation Model (DEM) with a resolution of 10 m produced from 1:25000 scale topographic maps was used as a base for the evaluation of these parameters. As a result of this study, when evaluated in terms of the morphometric properties of the watersheds, it was determined that the Zigana subwatershed has the greatest impact on flood production. This study is intended to guide decision-makers to anticipate floods and flood events that will occur in the watersheds in the future.

Aegean Region has many horst graben systems due to the effects of extensional tectonic regime. Graben fields generally correspond to the plains, while horsts correspond to mountainous masses. It is possible to observe the traces of active tectonics in the Aegean region where formation processes are active and to reveal them with quantitative data. Supporting geomorphological features clearly observed with good field experience with numerical data, quantitative determination of tectonic development carried geomorphology studies to a different dimension with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) technology. In this study, the geomorphological features of the Maymun Mountain horst forming the northern part of the Acıgöl graben section of Büyük Menderes graben were tried to be determined by morphometric analysis. Although it is not clear from which points the separation of the border between Beşparmak Horst and Maymun Mountain will be made, this study is based on the characteristic basins located on the north-northwest and south parts of the mountain. It corresponds to an area of 282 km2. In this study, the geomorphological characteristics of the Maymun Mountain, which arose as a result of geological structure, tectonism and other factors and processes in this area, have been tried to be determined by quantitative data. In this study, the geomorphological characteristics of the Maymun Mountain, which is the result of the geological structure, tectonism and other factors and processes in this area, has been tried to be determined by quantitative data. In this study, geomorphometric indices; hipsometric curve (He) - hipsometric integral (Hi), valley floor width - valley height ratio (Vf), valley width, triangular surface (facet) index (Pf), mountain front sine ratio (Smf) ) calculated; geomorphological development of the basin. In this study, 5 m resolution Digital Height Model (DEM), geology data, active fault data and GIS software ArcGIS10.5 package program were used. After the study, the formation of Maymun Mountain, its geomorphological development and morphometric properties were revealed.

DETERMINATION OF MORPHOTECTONIC FEATURES WITH GIS IN THE ÖZDEMİRCİ BASIN (ÇİVRİL-DENİZLİ) Abstract Anatolian is located on the Alp-Himalayan Fold Belt and has very young tectonic structures and basins where traces of active tectonics can be observed very clearly. However, tectonic geomorphology studies in this area are considered to be relatively new. Nowadays, Geomorphology studies with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology takes different dimension especially geomorphological features supported by a good field experience, supporting the geomorphological features, quantitative analysis of tectonic development. In this study, the geomorphological features of the Özdemirci Basin, where it is located in the Baklan-Dinar section of Büyük Menderes Graben, which has a very young formation, has been tried to be determined by morphometric analysis. The research area corresponds to the Özdemirci Basin with an area of approximately 105 km2 . In this study, the geomorphological features of the Özdemirci Basin, which emerges as a result of the processing of geological structure, tectonism and other factors and processes in this area, have been tried to be revealed with quantitative data. In the study, geomorphometric indices; hypsometric curve - hypsometric integral (Hi), stream length gradient index (SL), valley width, triangular surface (bezel) index (Pf), mountain front sinusoid ratio (Smf) calculated and have explained to Geomorphological development of the basin. In the study, Different materials and software were used 5 m resolution Digital Elevation Model (DEM), geology data, active fault data and ArcGIS10.5 software from GIS software. After the study, it was revealed that the faults on the formation and formation of the basin, tectonism was very active and it was a very young basin
