Abstract

Many uncertainties and doubts about the use of antihypertensive drugs in pregnancy have lately been raised.. The three main questions are : (1) whether such treatment, even early and protracted, is able to prevent extreme hypertension; (2) whether it can improve fetal outcome; (3) whether unpleasant side-effect on the fetus can be excluded.
