Abstract

The Nesamovyte Lake located on the eastern slopes of the mountain Turkul (Eastern Carpathians) at a height 1748 m above sea level and has an area of about 0,43 ha and a depth of about 2,0 meters. The investigated lake is different from other lakes of Chornohora massif by complex of dominant species (B. terribilis, H. dissiliens and T. flocculosa) and the presence of rare forms (C. aeruginosa, Ch. cryptomonadoides, M. minimum, D. proteus, G. truncata (=C. truncata)). In August 2015 the lake bloom was observed. During this period, the zooplankton was represented by only 5 taxa: K. cochlearis, A. denticornis, A. quadrangularis, Ch. sphaericus, D. pulicaria.
