Introduction
I am interested in tuberculosis (latent tuberculosis infection) and pneumonia in immunocompetent and immunocompromised patients, adults and children. One of my passion is the design and the analysis of observational studies. Our groups in Colombia and Canada have been working in different fields to understand the immunobiology of microorganisms in HIV and pneumonia, to design new diagnostic tools for pneumonia, and to understand the TB transmission in prisons.
