Introduction
I completed Ph.D. in Social Communication Science at Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. My research interests lie in the areas of Scientometrics, Scholarly Communication and Library Science. I have collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines, particularly Data Science and Education. I worked in different Ukraine academic libraries for more than 15 years.

SciVal and InCites are citation analysis tools for benchmarking research performance. SciVal provides metrics for publications in Scopus and InCites for publications in Web of Science. Despite this, SciVal and InCites are rarely used in studies. Scientists are actively using data from Web of Science and Scopus, but (as for me) they prefer to use other tools to analyze this data. What do you think why?
