p> Background: The main problem in grapevine cultivation is root-attachment nematodes cause serious yield problems in most crops worldwide. Through their different infection mechanisms these nematodes synthesize and secrete a mixture of protein-based effectors that they use to penetrate the root, migrate and develop into giant root feeding cells in...

p> Background : Pasteuria penetrans is a nonculturable bacterium that obligately parasitizes several species of phytopathogenic nematodes. Unknown endogenous female, plant or microbial reproductive factors are indispensable for multiplication and endospore formation of P. penetrans . Objective : To characterize P. penetrans endospores by 16S rRNA g...

Coffee is an important agricultural commodity in the world. However, it is susceptible to Hemileia vastatrix (Hv), an obligatory biotrophic fungus that causes coffee leaf rust (CLR). Natural resistance to rust has been identified in the wild species Coffea canephora and Coffea liberica. These species have been used in breeding programs where inters...

Root-knot nematodes are the most damaging pathogens for most crops as they reduce crop yield. Some chemical nematicides are still being applied in the field in spite of their negative effect on the environment. New alternatives such as the use of antagonistic microorganisms are necessary to reduce the damage caused by these pathogens. In this study...

The root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne javanica, has been recently identified molecularly in Peruvian vineyards. The endospore forming firmicute bacteria Pasteuria penetrans has been observed frequently as bacterial endospores externally fixed on second-stage juveniles (J2) and has been detected at an extremely low relative abundance in some vineyard...

Question
I migrated DNA into 1% agarose gel, in the first group, I loaded concentrated DNA samples. The second group were the dilutions of the same samples in 300 ng/ul and 20 ng/ul.
Could someone explain me, why it's happen?
Question
I would like to know how other researcher are using this dye because it could bring me more information about the standarization of it.
