Introduction
Rui Alexandre Castanho an EU Climate Pact Ambassador holds an International Ph.D. in Sustainable Planning in Borderlands. He is a Vice-Dean for Sustainable Development at WSB University (Poland), a Professor at UNIR (Spain), a Visitor Professor at the University of Johannesburg (South Africa), and the Vice Coordinator of the Research Center VALORIZA (Portugal). Furthermore, he collaborates with several research groups all over the world. Also, he was awarded the Doctor Honoris Causa title.
