Conference Paper
Full-text available
Several studies indicate that there is great evasion in engineering courses, especially in the first period such as disciplines of the basic cycle like Calculus, Physics and Analytical Geometry. Because these disciplines are commonly theoretical, many students face difficulties that lead to, in many cases, reproving the discipline or even give up t...
Conference Paper
. Over time mobile devices became part of the daily routine of many young people, which can’t be separated from their gadgets even during classes. The growing (mis)use of those devices inside educational institutions, mostly in classes, resulted on it being considered as a villain to these institutions. This work presents the Sigma Enquete, an elec...
Conference Paper

To provide engineering students the ability to act in various scenarios related to systems control, it is important to improve classes with practical demonstrations. Inverted pendulum systems have been used as basis for presenting various concepts related to the topic. This paper presents the development of a didactic tool for this practice that ca...

The use of educational artifacts created from waste of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) was considered practicable and effective by a research conducted by Andrade (2012), in which he created and used training kits using WEEE including Inverted pendulum Kit. Through an analysis of this artifact, this work proposes the implementation of im...

Question
I'm building a robot in V-REP which needs a sensor to provide it's current direction based on virtual world. In real world we can use a magnetometer to do this, and then all robots will have a unique referencial to its direction.
Question
I'm doing some research in swarm robotics and for testing algorithms and learning about them a swarm simulator will help me.
