Introduction
I'm a computational biologist, with a PhD in Ecology. I research on global change in terrestrial ecosystems, developing ecosystem modeling on soil C cycle and plant phenology. I work currently as a PostDoc at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), researching on wood xylogenesis and the factors that trigger the onset of leaf senescence in deciduous trees. And I'm also developing modeling to include soil food web dynamics into the ORCHIDEE Land Surface Model. Email: omar.flores@uantwerpen.be
