Introduction
My research focuses on the comprehension and appreciation of non-literal forms of language and communication, such as humour and irony, in individuals with or without neurodevelopmental conditions - particularily Williams syndrome and autism. I investigate these phenomena from a multidiciplinary perspective, involving affective psychology, experimental pragmatics, and special education.
