Introduction
I am a maritime archaeologist, member of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), working at the Institute of Archaeology, School of Philosophy & Letters, University of Buenos Aires (UBA). I conduct archaeometric studies on metals artifacts from 17th to 19th century shipwrecks and academic activities in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain. My main research interest is the relationship between innovation, conflict and science in Modern Europe and overseas.
