Introduction
Megan Lajoie is a recent graduate student at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY whom has worked towards her Masters in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology. Megan has done research in Zoology, Parasitology, and Microbiology. Her current project is 'The Role of Catalase-Encoding Genes (katA and katB) in Oxidative Stress and Antibiotic Susceptibility in Pseudomonas aeruginosa' which is proposed to be her thesis project for her senior year at LIU Brooklyn.
