Compulsory licensing (CL) is a mechanism made by the government to provide balance between the monopoly right holders and the third person with public interest by ensuring the ease availability of the patented products at reasonable rate. This paper discusses the background criteria for getting CL in India as per the Indian Patent Act, 1970 startin...

A single layer of modulated meta-surface is proposed for cloaking the conducting object (satisfying the quasi static condition) at two frequencies. In order to study the cloaking behavior in practical scenario, the cloaking effect of modulated meta-surface is verified using dipole antenna. The modulated meta-surface structure designed using CST mic...

This paper reviews the background phenomenon of various cloaking techniques such as transformation optics, transmission line network, microwave network cloak, scattering cancellation techniques in the applications of antenna field particularly in hiding the obstacle from the electromagnetic source and reducing the mutual coupling between two antenn...
Conference Paper
This paper deals with reducing the Radar Cross Section of the targeted object using the concept of superluminal propagation. The triangular cover made up of microwave network comprises of metallic patches interconnected with the microstrip lines are designed and simulated using EM simulators. The results shows the reduction in Radar Cross Section a...
Conference Paper

In this paper, a modulated metasurface structure is introduced for reducing the interference between two dipole antennas placed close to each other in MIMO application. For a system comprising of two dipole antennas of WLAN frequency of 2.4GHz and 6.3GHz respectively, a single metasurface cloak structure covering the 2.4GHz antenna provides proper...

Question
Suppose if I am providing simultaneous excitation in CST MWS from port 2 and 3,can I able to see my output in port 1?or can we able to add the results of S1,2 and S1,3 to get S1,(2+3)?
Question
Suppose if i am providing simultaneous excitation from waveguide port 2 and 3, can I able to see the output from port 1 in CST MWS? I tried for that by choosing (time domain solver) selection in source type and in the excitation list, i had selected only port 2 and 3.After simulation I got the result as S1,1, S2,(2+3), S3, (2+3). But I required S1, (2+3). Can it possible? How can I get it?
Question
Is there any design formulae for finding the dimensions for horn antenna only with the help of given frequency?
Question
Consider an example in cloaking applications, the excitation should be given through free space. How can this be possible with a connector?
Question
how can the impedance be matched between 50ohm(connector port)-377ohm(air medium)-50ohm(conducting structure)?
