Introduction
João Miguel is Professor of Endodontics at the Faculty of Medicine of University of Coimbra and Vice-President of the Portuguese Society of Endodontology. His current research interests are biocompatibility, regenerative endodontics, photodynamic therapy and rotary instruments evaluation. Our group is working with techniques for dental stem cells isolation and characterization; hard and decalcified tissues histology; biofilm quantification and cyclic fatigue testing.
