Good day for all
I want to investigate crystal nucleation, diffusion and sorption properties when changing or mixing different linkers in ZIF. The goal is to produce new materials with better improvement for CO2 capture.
So, I want ask which is better Molecular Dynamics Simulation program, Gromacs or Lammps?
Thanks for all
Good day,
Is it possible and usfule for a chemical engineer to do a PhD study in the field of Metal Organic framework (MOFs)?
Regards
Good day for all
I blended 3 types of oil
1- Mineral oil from market.
2- Palm oil.
3- TMP ester.
With different percentage to improve engine oil, I did tribology test (4 ball test) for every oil pure to calculate coefficient of friction (COF), then I did blend some oil together (as show in table in attachment). my issue is the COF for each individual oil, is high. but when blend it I got very low COF, less than average for all oils.
Note, that there was no any chemical reaction between the three oils, the mixing process was physical only.
good day for all
please anyone can help me to understand this issue?
I am doing research to improve engine oil.
I did TGA/DSC test for 3 samples in two gases (air and N2). my samples are :
1- mineral oil from market.
2- Mix, 70%wt mineral oil + 30%wt of (98%wt palm oil + 2%wt TMP ester)
3- the mix in (point 2) + 0.5 wt% of nano-glass
the problem is I cant find or get a logical reason for the different temperatures in the two environments, and there are some vague terms for me like : onset , peak, intgral ... etc.
So, please, anyone who can explain that, with full details to understand it. I will be very thankful
thanks for all
