Introduction
Franziska Roth-Walter currently works at the Messerli Research Institute, Department of Interdisciplinary Life Sciences at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna and is head of the applied immunonutrition group. Her research aims to understand the interplay between the environment and the immune system and its impact on immune regulation. Her current projects focus​ on nutritional immunity and the lack of micronutrients such as iron in promoting inflammation.
