Introduction
Dr. Bikku is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Anthropology, University College London. London. He is Social-Cultural Anthropologist. He specialized in Ecological/Environmental Anthropology. His Postdoctoral Research focuses among the Raika/Rabari (Nomadic Pastoral) Community of Western Rajasthan, (India), and their Relationship with the Environment, particularly religious beliefs and local knowledge. He received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from University of Hyderabad, India in 2017 with entitled "Religion and Sustainable Conservation of Nature: A Case of the Bishnois of Rajasthan, India. His doctoral research focused on the Bishnoi religious beliefs and practices as well as other local knowledge in relation to the conservation of the environment in the Thar desert.
