Introduction
A pediatric critical care nurse with extensive experience and having seen first hand the consequences of vaccine-preventable illnesses; primary prevention, especially in pediatric populations has become my passion. My interest in childhood immunization practices led me to examine health policy, and parental barriers to childhood immunization guided by the social-ecological model, for my PhD dissertation research.
