Introduction
Ana has recently defended her PhD thesis, focused on inhibiting bacterial communication to impede oral biofilm formation. Ana had also the opportunity to explore the role of intergeneric signaling molecules in biofilm formation and virulence. Her current goal is to develop a postdoctoral project to study infectious pathways in relevant bacterial pathogens.
