Distributed Encryption and Decryption Standards - A Contemporary Distributed Cryptographic Algorithm

Abstract

With the advancement in technology, plenty of data is shared over the Internet. And from the past few years, big data has also come into the picture, and data security has become a primary concern for everyone connected to the web. Without protection, the information exchanged over the Internet is not safe. Encryption Algorithms protect the data which gets exchanged over the Internet. This paper proposes a new cryptographic algorithm, Distributed Encryption and Decryption Standards (DEDS), designed by combining the Substitution Cipher and Stream Cipher algorithms. Also, we have compared the Distributed Encryption and Decryption Standards algorithm with the existing AES and DES algorithms to check the security and robustness for data security.

Malware constitutes an endemic form of cyber threat, and its ever-changing nature makes it difficult for cyber security strategies to adapt and counteract its dynamic characteristics. In the face of this highly prevalent menace, the "malware analysis and reverse engineering" strategy is utilized. This research paper examines these two essential fields extensively. Various themes are addressed, including malware types and their impacts, analysis techniques, reverse engineering techniques, case studies conducted, challenges encountered, and finally an overview of the study. Additionally, the results and discussions in this section will illustrate the main findings and provide vital information for improving current cyber security measures. Nonetheless, a discussion and conclusion on the wider implications of the research will be made in preparation for future research in this dynamic realm.

At present Banking sector plays a significant role in the development of the nation, not only as a pillar of the financial system of the nation but also by contributing toward the society. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) becomes the integral part of the corporate strategy. This paper considers the data of one Public Sector Bank – State Bank of India (SBI) and one Private Sector Bank - Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India (ICICI). It is an attempt to study the CSR activities of leading banks in India and compare CSR spending from the year 2009-10 to 2015-16. The present study is based on descriptive research design and secondary data collected from annual report of respective bank from website and different literatures are reviewed. Least Square Method is used for estimating CSR spending for the financial year 2016-17. The finding reveals that the percentage of Profit after tax spends for CSR by SBI is more compare to ICICI, but both the banks contributed highest in the financial year 2015-16. The estimated Spending for CSR for 2016-17 is also more in SBI as compared to ICICI. Background The residual effects of biochar are yet to receive adequate research attention in Sub-Saharan Africa despite the assumption that the positive effect of biochar may last longer on degraded tropical soil. Hence a field experiment was conducted to assess the residual effects of biochar, farmyard compost and NPK fertilizer applications on a Ferralsol in central Uganda. The field used for the study was previously used to conduct experiments for two seasons to assess the contribution of corncob biochar to the chemical properties of this highly degraded tropical soil. Result The co-applied biochar with compost and NPK fertilizer significantly (p < 0.05) increased some soil chemical properties such as soil pH, available phosphorus, soil organic carbon, and potassium than the control. The co-applied biochar with compost also significantly (p < 0.05) increased the soil pH and effective cation exchange capacity compared to the solely applied compost and NPK fertilizer. Collard plant height, canopy, stem girth, number of leaves, leaf length, and total biomass were significantly (p < 0.05) higher in the biochar amended soil than the unamended soil. Conclusion It was concluded that the addition of biochar with compost and NPK fertilizer had a significant residual effect on degraded tropical soils than solely applied NPK and compost.

Technical Analysis is a study of the stock market relating to factors affecting the supply and demand of stocks and also helps in understanding the intrinsic value of shares and to know whether the shares are undervalued or overvalued. The stock market indicators would help the investor to identify major market turning points. This is a significant technical analysis of selected companies which helps to understand the price behaviour of the shares, the signals given by them and the major turning points of the market price. Any investor or trader must certainly consider technical analysis as a tool whether to buy the stock at a particular point of time though it is fundamentally strong. The objective of the study is the technical analysis on selected stocks of steel sector and interprets on whether to buy or sell them by using techniques. The study is purely based on secondary sources which includes the historical data available from the website. For the purpose of analysis, techniques like Candlestick Charts, Simple moving average, ROC and RSI is used for the analysis to know if the stock is technically strong.

The present paper reunites in an objective synthesis data from forest management plans realized in the West Plain during 1995-2008. The study focused on stands situated around cities and in their construction perimeter in order to emphasise their contribution to the area’s long lasting development. The paper’s importance derives from the fact that urban areas are in a continuous development that will incorporate heavily nearby forests. As such, through their functions, forests contribute to the long lasting development of the entire metropolitan area to which they belong. All forests from the West Plain were divided in stand elements (species of a certain age that belong to a forest’s composition). The study has taken into account all stand elements from the area that belongs to the forest category from around cities. The large number of these stand elements (2107) offers a solid base for the different realized analyses. The paper’s results show that from the entire surface of forests with recreation functions located in the West Plain, 4.670 ha are occupied by Forests from around counties, cities and villages as well as forests located in their construction perimeter. The most widespread species from this type of stand is pedunculate oak (Quercus robur L.), which occupies 2072 ha. Forests from around cities from the West Plain are situated at altitudes between 80 and 400 m. The soils are predominantly common alvisol, while Arum-Pulmonaria is the most widespread flora. In the context of the long lasting development of urban areas with implications on nearby forests, the results and discussions of this article represent a first step towards knowing these forests and towards properly managing them in order to successfully fulfil their protection and recreational purposes.

Viral infectious diseases are serious threats to human health in both developing and developed countries. Although there is the continued development of new drugs from synthetic sources as antiviral agents, medicinal plants continue to provide the basic raw materials for some of the most important antiviral drugs. Alkaloids are a class of pharmacologically active plant compounds that are usually alkaline in nature. In this review, we tried to summarize recent progress in herb-based antiviral research, the advantages of using active plant compounds as antiviral agents, and the inflammatory responses initiated by alkaloids, based on the literature from 2009 to 2019, for the treatment of conditions, including influenza, human immunodeficiency virus, herpes simplex virus, hepatitis, and coxsackievirus infections. Articles are retrieved from PubMed, Google Scholar, and Web of Science using relevant keywords. In particular, the alkaloids from medicinal plants responsible for the molecular mechanisms of anti-inflammatory actions are identified and discussed. This review can provide a theoretical basis and approaches for using various alkaloids as antiviral treatments. More research is needed to develop alkaloidal compounds as antiviral therapeutic agents and potential regulators of the anti-inflammatory response.

According to the World Bank, as of mid-2000s, more people have access to mobile technologies than clean water. Mobile technologies were quickly recognized as excellent high performing work tools and became adapted early on for use in the agricultural sector. They offer exciting opportunities for improving farming practices, including operating sustainable fertilizer management strategies and related extension support. From assessing potential Nitrogen losses in California to fine-tuning fertilizer recommendations in Thailand — harnessing the potential of mobile technologies was recognized as an essential piece in the worldwide move towards information-driven, efficient, and sustainable agriculture. In this review, mobile technologies designed to augment existing methods of fertilizer management were reviewed and challenges to their adoption together with missing links in their development process were emphasised.

Job Satisfaction is the overall attitude of a well-being with regard to its job and environment. The feeling about the job is directly affected by the factors like salary, kind of work performed, supervision, working conditions and opportunity for advancement etc., The aim of the study is to study the job satisfaction of employees in Titanium Equipment and Anode Manufacturing Company Limited, to find out the level of satisfaction among Employees. To identify the factors that influence job satisfaction and the involvement of the organization and measures taken by them to satisfy their employees. The study was conducted by means of questionnaire method with Non-Probability Convenience Sampling with 105 respondents as sample, from the sample population of 150 employees. The results reveals that there is no relationship with regards to the educational qualification and income of the respondents and it was also found that majority of the respondents are satisfied with regards to salary provided, encouragement from the superiors and conflict management etc., The suggestions have been made to the organization regarding salary revisions, training etc., to reduce absenteeism and employee attrition as retention and job satisfaction is major aim for all the organizations to fulfil individual as well as organizational needs. An aim of the project is to study on Recruitment and Selection Process in Allsec Technologies and to find out the perception of the Recruitment and Selection process undergone by an employee. The main objective of this project is to study on Recruitment and Selection process with reference to Allsec Technologies. To identify the factors of recruitment and selection process. To identify an average time spent for selection process. The primary data was collected through questionnaire and the secondary data was collected through books,internet,etc.The data was collected by questionnaire with the sample size of 80 through probability sampling (Stratified Random Sampling) and analysis had done with the help of SPSS Software. Through findings, it is found that most of them are satisfied with the rounds of interview conducted and most of the candidates don’t know about the company policies before joining in the company. The time has to be reduced during the recruitment and selection process.

Land cover mapping of marshland areas from satellite images data is not a simple process, due to the similarity of the spectral characteristics of the land cover. This leads to challenges being encountered with some land covers classes, especially in wetlands classes. In this study, satellite images from the Sentinel 2B by ESA (European Space Agency) were used to classify the land cover of Al -Hawizeh marsh/Iraq -Iran border. Three classification methods were used aimed at comparing their accuracy, using multispectral satellite images with a spatial resolution of 10 m. The classification process was performed using three different algorithms, namely: Maximum Likelihood Classification (MLC), Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The classification algorithms were carried out using ENVI 5.1 software to detect six land cover classes: deep water marsh, shallow water marsh, marsh vegetation (aquatic vegetation), urban area (built -up area), agriculture area, and barren soil. The results showed that the MLC method applied to Sentinel 2B images provides a higher overall accuracy and the kappa coefficient compared to the ANN and SVM methods. Overall accuracy values for MLC, ANN, and SVM methods were 85.32%, 70.64%, and 77.01% respectively.
