how to design a closed drain system in oil field?

Hi, has anybody had the experience of publishing with Cambridge Scholars Publishers? They are not related to Cambridge University Press nor the University of Cambridge and publish academic books in a variety of fields including the life sciences. They have a big list of titles sold as hard back books that look very beautiful and professional, but the prices are quite high. I received an e-mail inviting me to submit an idea for a book and I am very tempted but with all the publishing spam and phishing going on, I would really appreciate any experience or advice anyone might have.

I'm working with both domestic and industrial wastewater and I'm looking for advice about calculating the famous Feed-to-Mass (F/M) ratio.

For calculating F: I guess both BOD and COD can be used, but the "acceptable range" will vary regarding which one you use.

For calculating M: I've seen both kgTSS and kgVSS. VSS represents better the amoun of microbial community but the reference range I have is 0.04 to 0.10 kgBOD/kgTSS.

Which range is used for kgBOD/kgVSS?

Are there defined ranges for every combination? I mean: kgBOD/kgTSS, kgBOD/kgVSS, kgCOD/kgTSS, kgCOD/kgVSS.

Hi, I am simulating the effect of design parameters on welded joints. Despite that, I applied only 1KN.m bending moment on the model but the out put Von Mises stress values are abnormal and of order 10e9 around the welded joints. why?

the attached file is the complete project which is meshed and run and contains the results for anyone wants to see the model.

Hint: the rared file is ansys workbench 16.1.
