Zeolite synthesis

I managed the process research for a Zeolite NaA plant that was built in Kansas City, USA that was linked to a sodium silicate plant that could utilize recycled water to make the silicate which was reacted with sodium aluminate. In this simple process the aluminate was most expensive for us, but the key to the economics was the ability to close the system by using the alkaline process water in the dissolution of sodium silicate glass. One would have to identify the specific zeolite to be able to say more. Essentially one can start with bauxite (to make the Al source), sand (to make the Si source), sodium hydroxide and energy. If you like you can also use sodium silicate for the Si source etc. It is the synthesis that is more critical in making specific zeolites as one is essentially fooling "mother nature" in that most zeolites of value are not the thermodynamically preferred structures!

Structure directing agents may be quite expensive and/or and steel autoclave if you do not have any.

what kind of zeolite will you synthesis? the compotition of zeolite depend on with ratio Si/Al

I feel template is not much important for meta stable zeolite synthesis, because i had done template free ZSM-5 zeolite.

I think it's complicated to synthesis zeolites rather than ZSM-5 with out using template (OSDA). ZSM-5 (MFI) is very easy to form and appears as impurity with other zeolites types.

K fine, accept it, do the MEL structure, just simply go beyond the temperature of your synthesis condition is wont be change the micro porasity to meso porous. did you use for this dual template. In this case are you feel template is paly a part of that.

Generally the stubility of sodalite or some other cage structure depands of composition per unit cell dependance not only for template.

Directing agent is the most expensive chemical. I synthesize zeolite LTA without using the directing aging. Just I change the aging temperature, and obtain zeolite lta  from 400nm to 11 micrometer.
