Why is umbilical cord blood such an important source for studying the prenatal status of the immune system?

I'm going to work on PB samples from pediatrics and I need to know the minimum amount of blood that I need to withdraw. How can I calculate it? And, I would be grateful if you can share your protocols and your feedback regarding this kit with me.

Global warming could negatively influence on plants, especially ferns. It is supposed that the organisms can tolerate these environmental conditions by activating pathway to protect themselves against heat stress. There cannot be found any more molecular and morphological studies on this issue.

So, we recently planned research to evaluate the effects of heat stress on the expression of genes, such as PvGrx5, which involved in the pathway, as well as morphological traits. We could just find PvGrx5 gene for the study, regarding published reports. Are there more genes which we could consider in our study?

Does someone know about journal of 2 or less than 2 impact factor journal for the mentioned topic.
