Perovskite Solar Cells

We recently conducted a study to enhance the performance of Triple Cation perovskite-based solar cell devices in both outdoor and indoor conditions. By employing various passivation layers on the absorber layer surface, we achieved promising results. However, despite repeated measurements at different conditions and setups, and in different labs, our photoluminescence (PL) intensity peaks trend do not align with the performance trend of devices with different passivation layers—except for the Reference case without any passivation layer. Specifically, we measured PL signals for both "glass/ETL/Perovskite" and "glass/ETL/Perovskite/passivation layer" samples.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance on factors to consider in order to reconcile our results with our expected outcomes.

Mixed perovskites (e.g. methyl ethyl ammonium halides etc.) have shown better stability than that of traditional perovskites such as methyl ammonium iodide etc. Due to their better stabilities, these materials could be very promising materials for commercialization of perovskite solar cells as well as in space fit application. My question is that what are the possible methods to synthesize these materials?

I wish to deposit a perovskite layer over ETL (SnO2) in order to fabricate the n-i-p planar device and could notice the role of UVO treatment prior to deposition. I was wondering if there any alternative to the UVO treatment (our lab doesn't have one) to enhance wettability, reduce oxygen vacancy and remove surface contaminants from the SnO2 ETL?

Will a Perovskite solar cell with calcium titanate work? the structure of the solar cell is FTO glass/TiO2/CaCo3/CuO/Ag. Calcium titanate is a dielectric, so I was wondering if it would work with such a layer instead of lead perovskite?

I am optimizing a perovskite photodetector device with the device structure ITO/PTAA/Cs0.15FA0.85PbI3/PCBM/BCP/Ag.

PTAA (2 mg/mL): 5000 rpm/30 sec

Perovskite (1.3 M): 1000 rpm/10 sec. and 5000 rpm/30 sec. In the last 10 seconds, EA (ethyl acetate) was used as the antisolvent to increase crystnillity.

PCBM (20 mg/mL): 2000 rpm/30 sec

BCP (0.5 mg/mL): 5000 rpm/30 sec

Till now, I can achieve Jsc around 16 mA cm^-2.

Please, anyone suggest how to make it above 20 mA cm^-2?

I am trying to find out the ideality factor in solar cells which are made of ferroelectric materials such as BiFeO3. These devices are not working on p-n junction model. So need to know some basic point regarding such type of devices. And also, How can we define, physical parameters in such devices. What is the physical significance of "Ideality Factor" in solar cells? What is the Ideality Factor in Ferro-electrical Photovoltaic cells?

MXenes could be deployed in the fabrication of perovskite solar cells as buffer layer, and electrode materials etc. In which way these materials will affect the overall performance of perovskite solar cells?

For example in CH3NH3PbI3 cif file, Nitrogen and Carbon atoms are at the same position (see the marked atom in the attached image)
