Low cost TTL to RS485 converter schematic board.

Hello.
Kindly anyone introduce me a very low cost TTL to RS485 converter circuit board. I have find the circuit attached here but the VBSD1-s5-s5 SIP is some how precious.

Hi,
your example employs isolation. Plus an isolated power supply.
If isolation is not required, there is quite a number of RS-485 or RS-422 chips. The effective interface converter in your schematics is the part marked ''75176BD".
If you want to use a ready-made board: search for "RS485 shield" and buy what you like. I found boards starting at 2.50 EURos but there may exist even cheaper ones. Typically you will also find schmatics for these boards on the vendors' sites.

Looks like you are using isolation on your module...
Have you searched for LTC1535? One piece is 6.65 USD on some websites though...

Can we measure currents of nano or pico amperes range reliably because I assume that normal lab multimeters won't work in this case because of their high internal resistances and noise. We get these low current values in simulation though but I couldn't figure out any method to measure such low current values using any instrument or any other method.

Hi everyone,
Ansys workbench has its Aqwa module to do hydrodynamic analyses of structures. Mine is an offshore structure with a moonpool and I already determined the RAOs (Response Amplitude Operators) of the structure in different wave conditions. What I need is the RAO of wave elevation (free surface elevation) of water inside the moonpool.
Does anybody in the forum know how to calculate it using Ansys Aqwa?
Could anyone tell me what is the usage of the circuit within the red frame?

The whole circuit is used for measuring voltage, but I am wondering what is the usage the circuit of the red section and how to analysis it? could anybody offer me some anlysis? Pleas ignore some notes in this paper…

When I teach bipolar junction transistor (BJT) in the classroom, I emphasize "Cut-off", "Saturation" and "Forward Active Mode" as the 3 operation modes of BJT useful in digital and/or analog applications.
Finally, I mention the 4th mode, namely "Reverse Active Mode", and reveal its properties to emphasize that a BJT is actually not symmetrical, i.e. emitter and collector cannot be interchanged in hope of a similar performance as in Forward Active Mode.
I also add that, although it is usually regarded as useless, I know of one specific application of Reverse Active Mode, namely TTL logic ICs (which have been manufactured/sold in > billions parts).
As many engineers familiar with digital electronics would know, input transistor(s) of a typical TTL logic gate (e.g. TTL NAND) operate in Reverse Active Mode for some input logic combinations.
I would be glad to learn other applications which benefit from Reverse Active Mode of BJT.
I am looking for a FAB that can make InP based photonic integrated circuits based on provided custom design, please help me to find one?

In the literature, there is much information about LC oscillators (not a surprise).
Active implementation of inductors (inductance simulation) is also within the scope, especially for integrated circuits.
It is also possible to synthesize negative inductors and negative capacitors.
I wonder what issues/properties would come up when the design/implementation of an LC oscillator is attempted based on negative inductor (-L) and negative capacitor (-C) devices.
I would like to read your comments not only regarding the theoretical issues (which are usually based on ideal device models), but also the practical issues (e.g. inductor and capacitor "loss"es, nonlinearity of active devices, etc.).
