How do we calculate the atomic scattering factor (f) in case of electron diffraction (for example in TEM)?

The procedure to calculate the atomic scattering factor in case of XRD is fairly clear and one can do it manually. I am wondering if it can done for diffraction in TEM.

(The first two links are substantially the same, you may request full-text...; the author claims in the abstract that 'Numerical procedures and routines for calculating these factors are described, ')

Dear Gerhard Martens, thank you for the prompt response. I would definitely go through those work.
