Does heavy granulation indicates Mycoplasma contamination in cell lines?
There is heavy granulation in our Vero cell lines. Does it indicate mycoplasma contamination? If not how to rectify it?
I am using MEM+10%FBS and antibiotics (streptomycin and Penicillin) for culturing.

I collected the blood sample(20ml) and i used 10 ml of blood diluted in 10 ml pf PBS.I diluted the rest of the blood with RPMI (supplemented with 10%FBS and 5ml penicillin/streptomycin) and i stored it at 7oC. I wonder if i can use it in order to isolate PBMC.Do the antibiotics or FBS affect the isolation?
