During the covid-19 outbreak in Iraq, the higher education sector faced many obstacles, and this research examined how remote learning and other relevant technologies, platforms, and other internet ramifications helped to keep this vital sector going during the new standard era. Students and lecturers will also be given a look at ways to overcome the drawbacks of using these technologies in this paper. The Corona pandemic (COVID-19) had a significant impact on Iraqi education, which was transformed through the implementation of e-learning in an effort to reduce the risk of the coronavirus infecting students. Remote learning and its associated technologies, platforms, and other online consequences helped sustain Iraq’s vital higher education industry during the covid-19 pandemic while also providing insight into the issues encountered by the sector during the new normal era. This paper will also address the difficulties, benefits, and drawbacks of educators and students using these technologies, as well as possible solutions.

The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly disrupted the higher education sector worldwide leading to the near-total closures of universities and colleges. This situation creates a series of challenges that can deepen inequalities across societies which now forced to move into the online realm. Almost all universities shifted face-to-face education to remote or online learning. Significant obstacles have been created for the global higher education community. Character building is very important to become a key educational mainstream in Indonesia for formal, non-formal and informal setting. There are several factor that influence student character building, namely parenting style and genetic personality. The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of parenting style and genetic personality to student's character building. This research is a correlational study using survey and quantitative method. The population in this study were parents who have school-age children and their children have genetic personality test (STIFIn test) in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by simple random sampling via electronic. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 625 samples. Data collection technique is using questionnaire with likert scale.

The development of the New Normal in Post-COVID-19 has its implication on education. During just the first few months of the pandemic, many classes turned to be on Zoom, Google Class, etc. and many Universities activated their Blackboard or similar platforms. The classical education system has resisted this system change for many years, as they resisted more change in the mindset of how the classes should be delivered and managed.This paper explores how the ‘flip-class’ and ‘disruptive learning’ can be part of the coming transformation towards preparing students more for the new normal required competency and enhance their life-purposefulness. The multidisciplinary, international researchers propose a hybrid model of Flip-class and Educational Social Network (ESN) could change the outcome of the courses intended learning to the better and prepare students for the unstable labour market.

The concept of quality of life (QoL) is a relatively modern scientific concept, however it has managed to expand to integrate different sciences and disciplines. QoL is not related to a specific field of life or a sector, but extends to different areas such as health, psychology, sociology, economy and environment.
QoL is used to express the level of the physical and social services development that are provided to the members of the community, or used to express the way individuals are able to satisfy their various needs. This can be gauged by the number of indicators that can be inferred from these needs. This paper will attempt to shed light on the most important indicators of quality of life in light of the global trend and suggest a new development model.

At the core of the knowledge inquiry about behavioural differences is the nature versus nurture debate which has been central to the development of various theories of human personality. The metaphor of a pendulum, swinging back and forth between nature and nurture, has been used to depict the opinion of scholars and practitioners in the social sciences and psychology in this debate. Nature / Nurture debate seeks to proffer answers to the following questions: why do people differ significantly in temperament, approach to challenges and level of intelligence even when they are siblings sharing from the same pool of genes? The debate also seeks to understand why people with different genetic trait behave alike within a group. How does our physical environment affect human behaviour and what role does communication play in the development of human personality? In the context of street children in Nigeria, should we attribute human personality to nature or nurture? These are issues this paper seeks to deconstruct. Methodologically, the paper examines critical theories of human personality and utilises a mix of review of relevant literature, comments and observations to discuss the role of communication in the formation of human personality. It concludes that though nature contributes towards human behaviour and personality, communication, which is the tool that drives socialisation, is central to the development of personality among the street children of Calabar. Thus, if communication can influence personality negatively, then the street children of Calabar have a chance of being rehabilitated through a different kind of communication aimed at behaviour modification.
