Water mites (Acari: Hydrachnidiae) were collected from males of frog-biting midges (Corethrellidae) in Gamboa, Panama. All Corethrella squamifemora males collected were parasitized with water mites. The mites were attached to the soft tissues of the thoracic region of the midges. No mites were found on female frog-biting midges of the same species....
