There are several applications for Chatbots in education, as well as their contributions to mentoring in the learning process. Bots can assist teachers with staying up to date on new standards and evaluation methodologies. Bots can assist students in understanding tough subjects in a way that makes it appear as if they are being taught by another person. Chatbots serve as virtual assistants in the educational setting, improving efficiency or answering frequently asked questions. In this case, we work on the premise of investigating the potential of Chatbots as analytical tools for analyzing preferred types of learning material in a mobile learning environment, which leads to the acquisition of a proper level of knowledge on the topics of telecommunication and wireless networks.
... The versatility of anaerobic digestion applied as an effective technology in the face of certain fundamental challenges has found its usefulness in biotechnological industries [4][5][6][7]. Unlike aerobic processes where dissolved oxygen can be measured continuously, there is a great challenge for fermentative processes in anaerobic organisms where the technologies referring to control processes are currently insufficient [6][7][8][9][10]. Since pH detection has been commonly used in fermentation processes, where only the activity of the proton is reflected, it is not sensitive to small changes in the intracellular metabolism. ...

This article presents a proposal of an anaerobic biodigester on a laboratory scale for introducing the monitoring and sensing techniques of the growth of microorganisms according to different parameters, where the redox potential, pH, pressure, and temperature have been measured in quasi-continuous mode. For this task, a microcontroller system was used (Atmega328—Arduino). Importantly, the design is based on flexible and open-source software, hardware, and firmware (Scilab, Arduino, Processing), facilitating its modification for other related studies. This design was developed to help engineering students to learn and to understand the operation of an anaerobic biodigester, which allows us to know various properties of the system at any time, as well as its evolution over time. In this way, property curves can be drawn and related to each other to obtain a better understanding of the biodigester operation. In this context, the relationship between the oxide-reduction reaction and microbial activity was studied so that the redox potential can be a way of measuring the growth of microorganisms in an anaerobic environment. With all this, through these parameters, it is possible to introduce to engineering students the operation of this technology used normally like a very powerful tool for the control of the carbon footprint, for example in wastewater sector, and consequently for the mitigation of the climate change.
... The operation of the digester with a continuous input is as described above, but the discontinuous loading of substrate requires a series of modifications to the model [16][17][18][19] to be taken into account. This section will show the approach of the model for a type of loading that is in effect an impulse input, since loading implies the introduction in a very short time period of a specific volume, V 1 , with an organic load. ...

In this study, we applied constructive approach to education supplemented with the innovation cycle approach. The main goal is to develop the innovative ideas from a clear start up to the implementation phase. Since multiple ideas tackle multidisciplinary problems, to properly present all needed concepts we used teachers from different fields of science. This was implemented through a pilot project and all results were assessed using a quasi experimental approach and constructive qualitative methodology to show the increase of interest with students in the areas of innovation, constructivism, and multidisciplinary on the cognitive, behavioral, and the affective level.
... Students are introduced to theoretical concepts and then construct the products based on theoretical knowledge. This approach is applicable for development of virtual laboratory systems and laboratories [5,6]. Even at the universities which implement Constructive Approach in programming or other ICT related courses, it is fairly uncommon in courses which have laboratory, as an integral part of a course. ...

This research analyses the implementation of Constructive Approach in development of a modern and efficient laboratory environment. In this context, Constructive Approach means students develop virtual or simulated environments based on their theoretical knowledge, and without already prepared solutions. A new generation of students developed a negative opinion towards laboratories and consider simulated environments as modern and challenging. The objective of this work is to achieve that laboratory for digital communication based on Constructive Approach is implemented. The opinions of 25 students were tracked during the implementing semester by constructive qualitative analysis on tri-component attitude model. The students had an experience in the implementation of different methods in laboratory during their previous semesters. The results showed that opinions towards laboratory was changed to a positive spectrum on three distinctive levels cognitive, behavioral and affective one, compared with the previous opinions towards simulated laboratory environments.

Constructive approach (CA) for increased efficiency of engineering education has been receiving growing attention and wider application in engineering education in recent years. New approach combining CA and Unified Process Model (UPM) for developing of software simulation packages and hardware is developed and proposed, on this way novel trifocal approach to engineering is proposed and discussed. Through this approach students developed virtual simulators as software prototype for hardware implementation of coders. This approach increased learning and understanding of mathematical and theoretical basics of coding theory, which is integral part of digital communication systems. For implementing construction of software simulator and hardware coders in the curricula we developed multidisciplinary approach. Joint and interconnected lectures were developed for the courses of digital communication and software engineering. For validation of developed software packages and constructed hardware coders used laboratory facilities for digital electronics. Trends of the level of understanding and result achieved on the exams showed that implementation of this approach provided better results in solving mathematical problems in the field of coding theory.

This article presents the design and development of a networking laboratory that integrates a combination of physical networking equipment with the open source GNS3 network simulators for on-campus, blended-learning, and potentially online delivery of networking classes. This transformative work has resulted in a significant increase in laboratory capacity, thus reducing the need for repeating classes. The integrated platform offers students both hands-on experience using real equipment, and the convenience of easy setup and reconfiguration using simulators. An example practical exercise in setting up an OSPF/BGP network is presented to illustrate the experimental design before and after the integration of GNS3 simulators. In summary, we describe the infrastructure, the integrated platform and systems, network design and experiment design; and the learning and teaching experiences of using GNS3 in classes.

This paper presents a cooperative project developed by two technical vocational schools. The project consists of the design and implementation of a prototype of an IP Public Address, closed circuit TV (CCTV) and access control system that uses the "Raspberry Pi" single-board computer as control system and non-electronic parts made with a 3D printer. The aim of the project is training students in maintenance of Voice over IP, audio and video. The project has been funded by the regional government Xunta de Galicia .
