Typical location of elastofibroma dorsi is deep to the latissimus dorsi and serratus anterior muscles, and below the lower pole of the scapule.

Purpose: Elastofibroma is a benign soft-tissue pseudotumor, frequently encountered in patients older than 60 years. This lesion can pose a diagnostic difficulty because it is often seen as an incidental finding in imaging. The purpose of this report is to present its typical imaging findings.
