Liver function tests are useful in diagnosis, evaluating severity, monitoring therapy and assessing the prognosis of liver disease and dysfunction. The outcome of biochemical tests which demonstrated in fig. (3), indicates that the ALP, GPT, GOT and TSB are higher in chronic patients than carrier group as also its shown in table (1).
