... The toolkit has been developed using Java and Spring for the backend; ThymeLeaf, HTML and D3JS for the frontend and PostgreSQL as the database. Figure 1 shows the various components of the software platform -the multiple data providers with different ways to extract data from them and store into a secured centralized database; the analysis layer where algorithms are applied to the incoming physical activity data to label activity levels, and extract sleep metrics like sleep quality and sleep efficiency.
