... subsequent weave pattern dia- logue allows simple specification of the required weave pattern. In the case of the orthogonal weave, clicking on the bin- der/weft intersections toggles the binder between the top and bottom position on the textile as shown in Figure 2. The weave wizard then automatically generates the weave pattern, generating ...

This study aimed to characterize the electrical properties of the thin film of Cu/Ni based on resistivity function. A thin film of Cu/Ni is fabricated using electroplating methods. Variations of current density which used in a coating process is 0.2 A/cm 2 , 0.4 A/cm 2 and 0.6 A/cm 2. The thin film of resistivity values measured using the Four Poin...

The article presents with the method of numerical prediction of the permeability tensor components for 2D woven by CFD. This method allows to assess the permeability using geometric simulation tool TexGen and ANSYS Fluent. The study defines the permeability of the 2D woven unit cell in three significant directions—along the warp, the weft and at the angle of 45° to the warp. According to this data the permeability tensor components in principal axes are calculated for unidirectional flow. We compare the permeability values with experimental data mentioned in the references. The woven unit cell results can be used as the input data for the subsequent impregnation modeling.
