... 75 target words embedded in and -final positions (in 31 words), are divided into 45 native words (in italics) and 30 loan words commonly used in BP. All the lexical items are listed in Table 2: Some of the loan words listed in Table 1, such as "laptop", "Flipboard", "hot dog", "Snapchat", and "Big Mac", contain two syllables closed by plosives, which means that 5 extra syllables were captured in addition to the 75 of each crucial word, totaling thereby 80 tokens per participant. Este estudo descreve a aquisição das sequências triconsonantais Ct/d]σC, propondo uma formalização para o estágio inicial do fragmento de gramática responsável pela produção dessas estruturas. Dessa forma, realizamos uma simulação computacional por meio do Praat, com o Algoritmo de Aprendizagem Gradual (AAG), a partir do modelo da Teoria da Otimidade Estocástica. Os resultados mostram uma demoção das restrições de fidelidade e de quedas de sonoridade no estágio inicial da aquisição do inglês como língua adicional.
