Non-English major teachers’ experiences of teaching English for young learners in Indonesia have not been widely studied until recent times. To fill the lacuna, this phenomenological study looks at the lived experiences of four teachers with non-English major backgrounds who teach English for young learners. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants and teaching observations were also additionally carried out to triangulate the data. The data were then analyzed following Braun and Clarke’s (2006) thematic analysis. Findings suggest that the participating teachers encountered multi-level complexities in teaching English such as wording arrangement, sentence construction, spelling, mother tongue fossilization, and misbelief of English as a foreign language. The study also revealed the use of digital tools, songs, and games, as mostly utilized by the teachers. Interestingly, despite the non-English major backgrounds attached to the teachers, their teachings led to sustained and engaging English language learning among young learners. This study implies that pedagogical decisions have been of value to effective pedagogy and classroom activities in teaching English for young learners.

This study employs qualitative research methods, particularly narrative inquiry, to explore the challenges preschool teachers face in teaching English to young learners. Through face-to-face semi-structured interviews, a purposively selected and diverse group of four early childhood educators, each with varying English language proficiency and educational backgrounds, provided insights into their experiences. This research primarily investigates the strategies these teachers implement to effectively manage interdisciplinary teaching activities and to enhance student engagement with English language materials. Additionally, it examines into the enduring impacts of these instructional strategies on preschool students, as reported by the teachers. The findings are organized into three key themes: the specific challenges faced in English language instruction, the strategies developed to address these challenges, and the short- to medium-term effects observed by the teachers. These outcomes offer significant implications for educators and policymakers in the realm of early childhood education. They contribute to a deeper understanding of effective teaching practices and inform the development of curricula and pedagogical approaches that can better support English language acquisition among preschoolers.

Employee competency development is the main pillar in the strategy to advance the organization. This research firmly aims to identify the positive impact of implementing a competency development program on improving the quality of employee performance and the level of innovation in the work environment. With the help of ChatGPT's Artificial Intelligence (AI) effectively supports the Learning/Training Development Division team in detailing the competencies required for each position and job code in the company, as well as formulating an appropriate syllabus. The research methodology combines experimental and observational approaches, in-depth interviews, and document analysis by measuring the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for eight employees of the IT Development Division and then compiling a skills matrix. The study's findings demonstrate that the employee competency development program may identify the technical competency and soft skill requirements of staff members, particularly with regard to leadership, with the help of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform. This is a benchmark for the success of employee development programs in the company. This research concludes that the employee competency development program using ChatGPT has a significant positive impact on improving performance and innovation in the company. It recommends ongoing program implementation, utilizing current methods that can be adapted to the company's ongoing needs
