A compact indoor digital antenna for digital terrestrial television is proposed. The design of the antenna begins with the material selection to construct the antenna by using CST software with a standard monopole antenna design. The antenna is then simulated and optimized. A bandwidth of 290 MHz (46.14%) between 500 MHz and 790 MHz is achieved wit...

Indonesia is currently in a transition period from analog to digital television broadcasting. This paper investigates the factors that influence public acceptance of digital terrestrial television (DTT) technology in Indonesia using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) model. A survey of users was conducted to collect d...
This work investigated the quality of signal strength coverage of the existing Digital Terrestrial Television (DTTV) operator in Nigeria using Startimes Ibadan as a case study. Signal strength and altitude data at different locations within a 40km radius of the Startimes transmitting station were measured to determine the quality of signal strength...

... With this reflector, the antenna radiation pattern that is formed is unidirectional leading to a 0° direction. Unlike the previous paper, in [2] the radiation pattern produced was omnidirectional, Aasyraaf proposed a high bandwidth DTV antenna that operates from 500 MHz to 790 MHz. Based on the simulation the radiation pattern produces an omnidirectional pattern that has a gain of 3 dBi at all the antenna pattern direction. ...
The characteristics of microstrip antennas that has dual-symmetrical beam radiation pattern presented in this paper. Microstrip patch antenna is designed to work on a Terrestrial Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB-T) band at 550 MHz. The proposed antenna has an impedance bandwidth of 10.75 MHz at −10 dB. In this paper we proposed a structure called Split Ring Slot (SRS) which have functions as a radiator and as an inductive component that contributes in the antenna miniaturization simultaneously. Antenna analysis is carried out with full wave simulations, and the antenna prototypes was fabricated and measured for validation. From the simulation results it is obtained dual-symmetrical beam radiation pattern with directivity values in each lobe of 2.50 dBi and 2.12 dBi in 1° and 181° beam direction, respectively. In terms of dimensions there is also a significant reduction in dimensions by 60% compared to antennas without SRS.
