Desa Meunasah Kulam terletak di Kabupaten Aceh Utara Provinsi Aceh dengan penghasilan utama masyarakatnya bersumber dari sektor pertanian yaitu bertani dan beternak. Di massa pandemi Covid-19 masyarakat diharuskan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan di rumah supaya dapat memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19 akibatnya terjadi penurunan pendapatan di masyarakat. Solusi yang ditawarkan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan melaksanakan pendampingan kegiatan usaha rumahan sehingga dapat meningkatkan penghasilkan keluarga. Usaha rumahan yang di dihasilkan yaitu produk crispy beans. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di rumah Geucik yang dihadiri oleh ibu – ibu rumah tangga. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri dari tahap persiapan, tahap pengolahan produk dan tahap pemasaran produk. Kesimpulan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ibu – ibu menjadi lebih terampil dalam mengolah bahan makanan khususnya sayuran buncis menjadi produk yang lebih menarik dan lebih disukai masyarakat khusunya anak – anak sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga terutama dimasa pandemi covid-19.

Lectins were discovered first in plants and later in other living things, and nowadays it is known that they are present in almost all many life forms. These proteins can bind to specific carbohydrates, which make them perform a number of biological activities and can be used as tools in the study of glycoconjugate structures present on the cell surface, being effective in medical research. Plant lectins, leguminosae lectins particularly, are among the most studied plant proteins. They are very versatile molecules, which show several interesting biological properties. Thus, the present paper reviewed the advances about the leguminosae lectins biological properties studies in the last ten years, taking into account their possible applications in the fields of Clinical Microbiology, Pharmacy and Cancerology through a search in the electronic databases, providing opportunity to exchange information about the theme. Leguminosae lectins can neutralize pathogenic organisms, be they viruses, prokaryotes and eukaryotes, in addition carcinogenic cells, besides decreasing oxidative stress, conditions which increases the possibility of alternative substances for the design of new drugs to be used in current therapeutic, expanding the possibilities of diseases cure. This research was conducted to determine the quality of antidiabetic traditional medicines from beans and bitter melon after 6 months of storage. Beans and bitter melon contain bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, beta sitosterol, stigmasterol, alkaloids, saponins, and phenols which function as antidiabatic. However, environmental factors such as production processes, and environmental temperatures affect the storage process. So we need to test the quality of antidiabetic drugs after 6 months of storage. The tests are pH test, total plate number test, mold and yeast number test. Based on the test the following results are obtained. The pH obtained was 4.75, the plate number was 0.002 colonies / g, mold number and yeast 0.01 x103 colonies / g.
