... analysis of the industry indicates a positive trend in egg and poultry production. According to the Rosptitsesouz there was an increased production of poultry meat in slaughter weight, starting from 2855 thousand tons in 2010 to 5000 thousand tons in 2018 (almost 2 times) for all categories of businesses, as can be seen in figure 1. Egg production by 2018 year increased to 45.2 billion pieces, which is 10.8% more compared to 2010 (figure 2). ...

A graph admitting a perfect matching has the Perfect-Matching-Hamiltonian property (for short the PMH-property) if each of its perfect matchings can be extended to a Hamiltonian cycle. In this paper we establish some sufficient conditions for a graph G in order to guarantee that its line graph L(G) has the PMH-property. In particular, we prove that...

... Traceability is also becoming very important today both in terms of regulatory requirements and as a marketing tool. Data can be recorded at all stages of processing and production which can be used to connect poultry products (end-point) with birds on the farm and at processing [62]. In terms of regulation, it is critical to be able to find the source of a problem (e.g., microbial, chemical). ...

The poultry meat industry has gone through many changes. It moved from growing dual-purpose birds (meat and egg production) taking ~110 days to reach 1.2 kg 100 years ago, to developing specialized meat breeds that grow to 2.5 kg within ~40 days. It also moved from selling ~80% whole birds to mostly selling cut up and further processed products in the Western world. This necessitated building large, centralized processing plants, capable of processing 15,000 birds per hr on a single line (60 years ago only 2500), that require higher bird uniformity (size, color, texture). Furthermore, consumer demand for convenient products resulted in introducing many cut-up fresh poultry (some companies have 500 SKU) and further processed products (chicken nuggets did not exist 50 years ago). Those developments were possible due to advancements in genetics, nutrition, medicine, and engineering at the farm and processing plant levels. Challenges keep on coming and today a rise in myopathies (e.g., so called woody breast, white striping, spaghetti meat), requires solutions from breeders, farmers, and processing plants, as more automation also requires more uniformity. This review focuses on the changes and challenges to the processing industry segment required to keep supplying high quality poultry to the individual consumer.
... It is necessary to develop a quality management system and traceability of the production to guarantee its quality and livability at all stages. The key to success consists in the competent management of resources within enterprises, in reducing the cost of production, primarily through the introduction of resource-saving technologies at all stages of the production of eggs and poultry meat [4]. ...

The issues of development and implementation of resource-saving technologies in broiler poultry farming have a complex purposefulness and their solution must be scientifically substantiated and cost-effective. The productive qualities of meat chickens and broiler chickens of the productive crosses are significantly influenced by many factors that make up the conditions of keeping and feeding. The use of Apex and Emicidin preparations both separately and in combination with each other when rearing chickens of the broiler parent flock of the Ross 308 cross had a positive effect on their productivity and the quality of hatching eggs obtained at the end of the productive period, at the age of 52 weeks. Egg production per initial hen exceeded that in the control group by 2.6% in experimental group 1 (Emicidin), by 3.2% in experimental group 2 (Apex 3010), and by 5.8% in experimental group 3 (combined use of Emicidin and Apex 3010). The determined zootechnical indicators showed high efficiency of the use of the GerbaStor preparation for the floor rearing of broiler chickens of the Ross-308 cross in conditions of increased stocking density in winter. The difference in the productivity index was 18 units, and in meat yield from 1 m² of floor, it was 1.37 kg (3.8%) in favor of the broilers of the experimental group 2, who received GerbaStor. The profitability of the production and sale of meat of broilers grown under an increased stocking density using the GerbaStor preparation was 3.95% higher than that of broilers in the control group.

As a consequence, all this contributes to a decrease in the productivity of laying hens, quality of eggs and the profitability of production in general [4,5]. ...

The paper considers the result of the experiments. It was found that when adding supplement feeds Amilocin with water to laying hens of the Hisex Brown cross according to the developed schedule, the average weight of one egg for the entire experimental period in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th experimental groups exceeded the values of the 1st control group by 0.89%; 2.4% and 3.13%, respectively. The egg production of the experienced laying hens in comparison with the control was higher, i.e., in the second group it was higher in 4.9%, in the third it was higher in 10.7% and in the fourth it was higher in 5.4%.

The most important condition for increasing the economic viability of the economic entities of the industry is the presence of a competitive domestic breeding base. Analytics showed that at the present time there has been a significant weakening of it, which clearly demonstrates such tendencies as a reduction in the number of breeding farms and, above all, unitary breeding poultry farms, as well as a high dependence on the import of breeding material. The latter circumstance has led to an increase in the cost of both breeding and marketable products, therefore, a decrease in profit margins and the level of profitability. At the same time, an increase in the concentration of the original genetic material among individual manufacturers led to a restriction in the number of crosses used, a decrease in competition in the market for breeding products, and the choice of quality breeding material. The study of the economic viability of poultry enterprises from the perspective of the state of the domestic breeding base, taking into account the development trends of breeding companies in the world, has enabled to identify the fundamental directions for solving the problem under discussion. These include the formation of a competitive domestic breeding base; reduced imports of pedigree products; availability of methodological tools for assessing the genetic potential of poultry; increased investment support from the state and private entrepreneurs; ensuring the availability of credit resources; the introduction of innovative developments that contribute to breeding progress aimed at creating a competitive domestic poultry.
