Electricity supply is rapidly becoming more complex and variable where energy efficiency rules are still evolving only to limited end. A near future with millions of electric vehicles and industrial loads will dramatically increase the necessity of a demand modulation system. The best way of practicing demand management is user responsive load mana...

... characteristics behaviors of consumers on various conditions and loads is graphically analyzed. The Figure 7 shows the power consumption of the user 1 over a period of 60 minutes where real power, reactive power and power factor variations is plotted as the load varies with respect to time. It was noted that for the first fifteen minutes the power consumptions is almost at off load where as for the next fifteen minutes the load is almost in medium range. ...

... Similar patterns differentiating between weekdays and weekends are also well known in online purchasing [1,8,45], online banking [6], and online advertising [13] as well as more complex patterns of different weekdays and their influence on purchasing and spending behavior [44]. Research on monthly patterns is rare even there are findings that people calculate their monthly budget to see what will be left at the end of the month for larger purchases [40,54]. This argument, however, supports the observed pattern that average amounts of donations tend to increase to the end of the month. ...

Crowdfunding platforms as a new way of financing in the web 2.0 have increased over the last years, but only little is known how users (project initiators and (potential) project backers) behave during a campaign. Using a dataset of 492 projects (including 10‘439 donations) published on one of the dominant crowdfunding platforms in Switzerland, we explore the user behavior in crowdfunding. Our results show that the first days of a campaign are crucial. Successful projects generate a significant share of their intended funding goal just in the first days of a campaign. Moreover, the early interaction patterns on the project page initialize social emergent developments like herding effects for the remaining campaign duration. Finally, we show how project initiators can adapt to backer behavior to increase their funding chances.

For the propose of improving the economic benefits of wind turbine utilization, an image recognition model based on deep learning called ‘Multivariate Information You Only Look Once’(MI-YOLO) is proposed which can detect the surface cracks of wind turbine blade efficiently, especially for cracks with light colors. In order to improve the extraction ability of light color and low definition, the Multivariate Information fusion and the use of C3TR module are put forward. Alpha-IOU is used to balance the precision rate and recall rate of the new model, and further improve the mAP. Aim at solving the problem of small amount of data and unbalanced positive and negative samples, two new data enhancement methods are employed. The detection performance of the proposed method is tested using wind turbine’s blade images with cracks taken by Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Results show that the MI-YOLO is not only lighter, but also has a higher mAP than the YOLOv5s. Meanwhile, the economic efficiency of the proposed method is analyzed and compared with other detection method with the limitations of the proposed method for offshore wind turbines also being discussed.

Electricity is first Generated then Transmitted over long distances and at last Distributed (D) to customers. During this method of GTD, energy losses happen. Technical losses square measure those losses that occur attributable to properties of materials utilized in transmission and distribution system. Energy loss is outlined because the distinction between energy generated and beaked on customers on consumption Power utilities in numerous countries particularly within the developing ones square measure acquisition immense losses because of electricity stealing. In smart grids, the data techniques square measure applied to the facility system to supply a fascinating infrastructure for real time measurement, transmission, call and management.

Distribution, loss of current and voltage will directly result the inaccuracy of metering device, Plug-in metering device can achieve meter rapid installation through insertion and evulsion, being a hot research and application at present. Combined with this configuration, set an interlock-delay link, which controlled by micro limit switches and a dedicated key, we can realize meters' replacement or reformation under uninterruptible power supply. On the other hand, if replaced or reformed illegally, there will be power failure, and cannot recover except professionals from power supply company. In this case, we can prevent electricity theft from it happens instead of large scale investigation and punishment later, which make us turn from passive to active, and prevent electrical energy resources theft occurred.

In recent years, enormous work has been done for adding smartness and intelligence to the conventional power system. Visualization techniques form a crucial part of this paradigm. There is a need to link the analytical data from the power system to the visualization tools. This paper presents a system for analyzing the visualization technique, GIS (Geographical Information System) for displaying the real-time data from the grid on geographical map and its role in optimization of cooperation in game theory. Different GIS software, benefits of visualization techniques, users and beneficiaries of the system, etc. have been outlined. The authors have also introduced the theory of Sub-game Perfect Nash equilibrium, discussed its advantages over Nash Equilibrium and its role in optimization game. ESRI's ArcGIS Explorer Desktop has been used for displaying the information on the geographical map.
