This paper presents the second part of the results of the first short-term inventory of fungi species occurring in the Biebrza National Park and is focused on a survey of macrofungi. The total number of macrofungi found during the survey in late August 2012 was 289 taxa: 17 ascomycetes and 272 basidiomycetes, inhabiting diverse ecological niches. T...

We identified 17 species of fungi that are new to Kampinos National Park. Sixteen were found during surveys of areas damaged by a strong wind in 2017. The remaining species was found outside the windthrow area. Descriptions of four species new to Poland ( Cortinarius subcompar , Hyaloscypha quercicola , Hypocrea tremelloides , and Trechispora aff. invisitata ) are also provided. The current number of macromycetes taxa identified in Kampinos National Park is 1,654.

The study of Agaricomycetes in the Brazilian Pampa Biome is still incipient, but it is very necessary for the valorization and preservation activities in this area. In terms of fungal diversity, it is the least studied Brazilian biome, with only 84 species already described for the site, despite the great diversity of fauna and flora that this biome presents. The objective of this work is to know more about the mycodiversity of this biome, contributing to a better understanding of the distribution and ecology of the Agaricales. The collections were made following the usual methodology for Agaricales (Basidiomycota). Thus, specimens were collected for studies to identification to species level by macro-and microscopic characters. Descriptions of seven species collected in the rural region surrounding the city of São Gabriel, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil are presented, which are cited for the first time for the Pampa Biome, namely: Macrolepiota mastoidea, Protostropharia alcis ssp. austrobrasiliensis, Trogia buccinalis, Crepidotus euterpicola, Entoloma depluens, Lepiota subincarnata and Neopaxillus echinospermus. These new citations reinforce the importance of studies on the biodiversity of the Pampa biome for its preservation.

The Wielkopolski National Park is located in western Poland, near Poznań City. Its unique postglacial landforms are covered with various (semi)natural and anthropogenic ecosystems. The mycobiota of this Park has been studied for 90 years; however, current state knowledge is still insufficient. In 2018, a few-year- long project on the chorology, richness, and diversity of fungal biota of this area was started. In the first year, 312 taxa of macromycetes were found. Among them, 140 taxa were new for the biota of the Wielkopolski National Park. Five species ( Botryobasidium robustius , Hebeloma subtortum , Leccinum brunneogriseolum , Pachyella violaceonigra , and Sistotrema athelioides ) were new for Poland, and 26 taxa were new for the Wielkopolska region.
... Large protected areas, such as national parks, have become particular points of interest in the mycological explorations conducted in Poland in recent years. They are characterized by a great richness of mycobiota (Gierczyk et al., 2009;Halama & Romański, 2010;Karasiński et al., 2015;Kujawa et al., 2012Kujawa et al., , 2015Ławrynowicz, 2012;Ruszkiewicz-Michalska et al., 2015;Wojewoda et al., 2016). The specificity in the appearance of fruiting bodies means that subsequent years of research will still provide new data on macromycetes of the studied area (e.g., Gierczyk et al., 2017, Gierczyk, Szczepkowski, et al., 2019a, 2019bGrzesiak et al., 2017). ...

The paper contains results of mycological examinations conducted in the Wolin National Park from May to October 2017, and data previously unpublished. Exploration was carried out using the route method in the whole Park, with particular emphasis on its western part. The paper includes 205 taxa (25 from Ascomycota and 180 from Basidiomycota), including 32 new ones for the Wolin National Park. Among the identified taxa, 17 were threatened. The endangered species (Category E) were represented by Aleurodiscus disciformis , Calcipostia guttulata , and Geastrum triplex , the vulnerable species (V) included Inocybe grammata , Inocutis rheades , and Xylobolus frustulatus , and the rare species (R) consisted of 10 taxa, including Helvella lacunosa , Gloeoporus taxicola , Mycena crocata , Plicaturopsis crispa , and Pseudomerulius aureus . Some species are known only from a few sites in Poland, e.g., Hohenbuehelia auriscalpium and C. guttulata . Currently, the number of macromycetes species known from the Wolin National Park is 508.

This paper presents the results of mycological studies conducted in the Wolin National Park from July to November 2012, and sporadically in the following 4 years. Explorations were made by a route method over the whole area of the Park, mainly in forest associations: Cephalanthero rubrae-Fagetum , Galio odorati-Fagetum , Luzulo pilosae-Fagetum , and Fago-Quercetum petraeae . In total, 322 taxa of macrofungi were found, 37 Ascomycota and 285 Basidiomycota. Two of them, Hericium coralloides and Inonotus obliquus , are under partial protection, 39 on the red list of fungi in Poland. For the first time, Russula torulosa , previously not reported from Poland, was found in Wolin National Park. Among the examined phytocoenoses, Galio odorati-Fagetum and Luzulo pilosae-Fagetum are characterized by the highest species variety and abundance.
