The monocarpic perennial Peucedanum arenarium is a critically endangered plant species in Slovakia, growing only in several micro-localities on the Sandberg hill near Bratislava (NNR Devínska Kobyla). Disturbances such as grazing and fire were excluded from possible management measures on the dry, sandy slopes of the Sandberg hill. Three types of t...

Published papers and also unpublished manuscripts dealing with plant populations in Slovakia (Central Europe) were collected. List of the papers is given in alphabethic order by first author. The papers are listed within six groups: Original papers, PhD. Theses, Diploma Theses, surveys and proceedings, and short papers as last group. In second part of the bibliography, registers of plant species and topics are presented. Dotazník mal aktualizovať stav poznania a sú-časný výskum populácií druhov kveteny Slovenska. V prvej časti bibliografie je uvedený súpis prác v abecednom poradí podľa autorov. Úplné citácie prác sú v súlade s normou a Bulletinom. Práce sú roz-delené do šesť častí – pôvodné vedecké práce, súborné práce, dizertačné a ha

A new site of the critically endangered species Peucedanum arenarium (Apiaceae) was found in the surroundings of the village of Modrany (the Podunajská nížina Lowland) in 2013. The species was growing in xerothermic, relatively species-rich vegetation of Festucion vale-siaceae alliance on loess. Phytosociological relevé includes 35 vascular plant species. Origin of Peucedanum arenarium at the new locality, as well as perspective management measures, are discussed.
